In my previous post, we see the basic of computer networking . In this post we are going to see deeper about networking. If you have more than a computer, you must have a network to share your device and data. Depend on area and Number of computers, network are change. Most Common types of network are: LAN – Local Area Network WAN – Wide Area Network MAN – Metropolitan Area Network WLAN – Wireless Local Area Network LAN LAN is stands for local Area Network. This type of network is most commonly used network. LAN is used to connect a short distance network needs. It is mostly used in small office, Building or School. What is network? Network is a group of computer and other device connecting in a transmission media. Network connection may be small and large number of computer. Network usually used for exchange the data and accessing the device. Types of Networks: Computer network can be having different levels of controls over shared data’s or device. There are two basic network models are using, they are: Peer to peer Network Client / Server Network Peer to Peer Network: It is a simplest form of a network connecting one computer to another computer. In Peer to Peer Network, User can access directly with another computer within the network. Every computer can send and receive the data from any other computer. In Peer to Peer Connection there is no centralized computer for controlling the users shared details. Advantage: They are simple to access and configure. Cost is low and very easy maintain.
